All third-party service providers are required to handle your data in accordance with our instructions and applicable privacy law. We prohibit them from using your data for their own purposes beyond the services they provide to us.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Our general retention principles are:

  • Active clients — data is retained for the full duration of your mentorship relationship with us.
  • Inactive inquiries — contact form submissions where no mentorship relationship commenced are retained for 2 years, then securely deleted.
  • Financial records — transaction and billing records are retained for 7 years to comply with New Zealand's tax legislation (Income Tax Act 2007).
  • Website analytics — anonymised analytics data is retained for up to 13 months, after which it is aggregated or deleted.
  • Legal disputes — where a legal dispute arises, we may retain relevant data for the duration of that dispute plus any applicable statute of limitations period.

Once data is no longer needed, we securely destroy it using industry-standard methods, including cryptographic erasure for digital data and physical destruction for any paper records.
